Planningtorock

Planningtorock – aka Jam Rostron – is a Bolton-born Berlin-based singer- song writer, composer, producer and director with three critically acclaimed studio albums of left-field dance to their name – not to mention various collaborations, Opera's, film scores and remixes. A selftaught, non-binary, genderqueer musician, they’ve spent a decade plus queering sound and vision as Planningtorock.

Plannintorock's new album Powerhouse is their most personal record yet: emotionally-charged, biographical anthems drawn from Rostron’s lived experiences as a non-binary genderqueer artist, experiences around family, identity and music itself. Recorded across Berlin, London, New York and Los Angeles, Powerhouse is a celebration of liberation, a groove-filled record that sees Rostron consolidating power both personal and artistic into queer pop.

Virgen Maria

Hailing from Madrid artist and performer Virgen Maria (Maria Forqué) is here to ‘blex’ you. A thin line between art and music is drawn every time Virgen Maria manifests her blexing powers, a cocktail of sex, hotness, sweat and spirituality.

Her pioneer vision to mix meditation and sex through music has caught attention across the globe, leading her to perform both in person and as a holograph across Asia, America and Europe. Meanwhile her aesthetic and conceptual art has already led to collaborations with the likes of Fenty, Gucci, Vetements and Camper, as well as performing live at both the MOMA and MIRA’s Festival’s ASMR campaign.

He4rtbroken

HE4RTBROKEN is a Belgian collective bringing unapologetically emotional music into the club. Focusing on feelings and reinvention rather than on a certain musical genre, it offers a safe haven to the lone souls longing for a dancefloor to cry on. Promoting nights since 2015 in Brussels, they also host a monthly show on NTS Radio.

Founders and resident DJs Liyo and Steff learned their craft together as autodidacts; their style could be qualified as « storytelling », and is kindred to the philosophy of her nights: emotions come first, as they are looking for interesting collages, abrupt downfalls, and emotional climaxes in their mixes.

M I M I

M I M I is a DJ & multidisciplinary artist based in Brussels, Belgium. Born in Lusaka, she arrived in Belgium at a very young age. She is very present in the Belgian nightlife and has had the opportunity to work internationally as well, including a guest mix for NTS Radio, Red Light Radio and Dj sets in Lausanne, Köln, Paris and most recently Boiler Room in Barcelona. Her work is an ongoing conversation with nature, where she gets most of her inspiration from. Exploring her Afro-European cultural heritage through different media, she doesn't stick to any precise musical style but instead explores and combines continuously, making her DJ sets an organic blend of multiple genres. Looking towards forward-thinking movements while exploring her roots. From raves to art galleries, M I M I's versatility will set the mood right in any situation.

Vile Motif

Vile Motif expresses itself in ways that are not bound by societal norms of gender and drag itself. They use the medium of drag to carry out a political message, as well as allowing themselves to just have fun with drag. Each performer has their own sensibility, and together, they will bring you a varied, yet cohesive presentation of Vile Motif.

DJ Copain

BELGIAN QUALITY CLUBBING, A room with 4 atmospheres. Forget your prejudices about DJ sets, this one will only resemble the triviality that lies within you.

 Bebe Books

Bebe Books is a queer collective based in Ghent. The collective started as an independent publisher but became more active in community-based practices such as organizing queer events.

Bebe curates workshops and exhibitions and makes publications for and by the queer community. This artistic project was founded in the Spring of 2017 by Ruud van Moorleghem and Mert Sen, by publishing various LGBTQ+ fanzines and organizing several events. Bebe Books since it’s established, participated in various art book fairs in Europe, as result of this; they have developed a wide social and cultural network.

Bebe Books now is not just a publishing house but a platform where queer bodies come together. It is a platform where they can express themselves freely and be themselves and feel safe. Bebe Project’s mission is to politicize spaces with the LGBT Community (ourselves) to be ignored by those who are in a position of power.

Bebe Collective right now, consists of 6 members who are artists or designers. Our collective approach is using our artistic knowledge and background as a tool for promoting and supporting our community. Every project that we work on involves lots of other queer artists. For the ones who were not able to be seen and noticed before by the others. The ones who are extremely talented but stuck in the periphery.

To make all these real, we have curated and organized more than 40 events and collaborated with several established institutions like Bozar Brussels, Vooruit Gent, Kunsthal Ghent, Strangelove Festival Antwerp, DOK Gent, Motel Spatie Arnhem, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, Manoeuvre, and Gouvernement Gent, among others. After several years of presenting and creating Bebe built, gathered, and connected a big queer community.

Bebe Project has close contact with a broad range of artists, musicians, performers, and cultural workers both locally and internationally. We believe the art scene in Belgium needs to be more diversified, and with this idea, we put extra effort into making our selection of artists from different ages to different backgrounds and genders. Trying to break monoculture in the queer art scene is one of the main goals that we want to achieve.

Bebe Books “queers” spaces around the world by hosting and curating LGBTQ+-friendly events and by supporting promising artists and collectives. Bebe's mission is to build a safe space that harmonizes fun, art and education.
