Employing a mixture of AI and animation to create a dreamlike short film, "The act of Remembering" is a conversation between mother and child; a testament to the endurance of longing and the fragility of language.

As a musician, they are embedded - but not fixed - in classic pop as well as a lofi-sensibility, which always permeates their works. As of the summer of 2020, they decided to venture into a solo career.

Hubert Tuyishime

aka Porcelain id

Multidisciplinary artist Hubert Tuyishime - known as Porcelain id under their musical moniker - realised their graduation project inspired by the likes of Ralph Bakshi, David Lynch, and William Kentridge. Tuyishime embarked on a journey into the landscapes of loss and tenderness.

On this upcoming debut EP, Tuyishime will collaborate with poet Sefora Sam, emerging electronic artist HOFFMAN and longtime collaborator, multi-instrumentalist Nard Houdmeyers. The EP centres around a few key personal events: coming to terms with queerness, infidelity, and the brutal murdering of black people. Written and recorded during the summer of 2020.

The second single “MONTANA” was released on all platforms on July 26th.
